Ian Anderson releases new album and points to the end of Jethro Tull

The singer, songwriter and flautist Ian Anderson pointed end of his band Jethro Tull during the promotion of “Homo erraticus”, a new album-the-released second solo.

Speaking to U.S. magazine Billboard, the Scottish musician has stated that “although Jethro Tull catalog remains in good shape and very attached” to him, in his “twilight years” prefer to use only his name in the novel compositions.

Tom Jones will headline the British Summer Festival in Hyde Park

The Welsh singer Tom Jones headlining the British summer festival which is held in July at London’s Hyde Park, the British media reported yesterday. Jones, a veteran of the music that has sold a hundred million records worldwide, will perform on July 13 in one of the most important festivals celebrated in the British capital during the summer.

In a statement, the artist, 73, said he was “delighted” to sing in Hyde Park, because it is “a very nice place, where they have performed many great” as the Rolling Stones, who were cited last summer in this iconic park.

Nyman dedicated a Symphony to the 96 dead of Hillsborough Stadium

The British composer Michael Nyman, who wrote the music for the film “The Piano”, composed a symphony in homage to the 96 victims of the Hillsborough Stadium disaster, which is the 25th anniversary.

Nyman hopes his symphony “Number 11″ is a “small but significant to help the families of the victims on the road to recovery contribution” when it opens a new investigation into the circumstances of the drama in that stadium North of England.

Ricky Martin will perform on June 6 in Morocco

Lady Gaga celebrates birthday with concert in NY

Lady Gaga celebrated her 28th birthday with a concert short but energetic at the Roseland Ballroom, on the first of seven shows in this scene that closed in April. Gaga performed for an hour on Friday night in front of a cheering crowd.

Kate Bush increases functions of her return to the stage show

Fans of Luis Miguel protest organization show in Buenos Aires

Hundreds of followers of the Argentine Mexican singer Luis Miguel yesterday showed his displeasure with the organization of the concert that the artist offered next October 23 in Buenos Aires, and demanded greater control over ticket sales, local media reported.
