Shakira: her next album will be in English
The Spanish, her native language, it has brought good luck on her latest album, “Sale el Sol”, which continues to squat on top of the charts since its release in 2010. Never mind! For her next album, Shakira decided to sing in English.
With “I love her to death” her rendition of Frank Sinatra, Shakira has proven to be truly multilingual. Whether Spanish, English and even French, the artist connects the tubes without a hitch. Building on its success with “Sale el Sol”, her latest album released in 2010, Shakira already thinking about the result. Colombian singer has indeed posted on Twitter that the pieces of her next album would be written and sung entirely in English. We remember that the Latin American artist had already opted for the language of Shakespeare several times in the past, notably in 2001 with the album “Laundry Service” in 2005 on “Oral Fixation Vol. 2″ and in 2009 disk “She Wolf”.
Shakira: always on top
Shakira already think certainly after, but she continues to ride the wave of success with her album “Sale el Sol”. Buoyed by the hits “Waka Waka”, “Rabiosa”, “Antes de los Seis”, but mostly the inevitable “I love him to death”, the disc has already sold over 435 000 copies in the Hexagon. And it’s not over! Shakira is about to publish a seventh single, “Addicted to You”, an up-tempo song with oriental sounds that will surely delight once again the public.
