RPA & The United Nations Of Sound : Born again
After continued for years to alternate work solo album together with the Verve, Richard Ashcroft has decided to do something new by participating in a whole new project called “RPA & The United Nations Of Sound”.
“Born Again” is a nice mix of melodic rock that has always distinguished the career of Richard Ashcroft, both solo and with Verve, and some elements of classical music and electronics, most characteristic of this project of United Nations Of Sound.
He had heard something similar in repertoire of the former Verve frontman in songs like “Break The Night With Colours” or “Music Is Power”, and already since “Bittersweet Symphony” were noted these classical influences.
The combination of all these styles of music is the backbone of the entire album. This led to a sort of division among fans of Richard: people who love and who still preferred him in albums like Urban Hymns or Keys To The World.
Meanwhile, “Born Again” is already on air in all major Italian and European music channels and seems to be enjoying some success.
