Blur: A meeting in January 2011?

Damon Albarn of Blur, group leader suggested that his group would meet to begin work on a project from January 2011. Is this the harbinger of a new album?

blur-emi-music-ltd

Recently, the tendency was to combine the sentences referring to past Blur. An approach quite normal since the famous British pop group had surrendered their arms last year after his anthology concert given in July 2009 in Hyde Park in London, as part of its reformation ephemeral. Since then, the English have not released an album, but continued to squat in the news, by releasing a single over here, there (best remembered for release in April Fool’s Day, their first new song released since 2003 as part of a campaign to support British record stores). Today, many fans are probably watching for a sign of a possible meeting of Blur. Their wishes will finally come true perhaps in light of the remarks that was recently held Damon Albarn, leader training. [...]

Willow Smith – Whip My Hair

Only 9 years old: this is the age of Willow Smith, or simply Willow, R&B singer and actress and daughter of the famous music producer and actor Will Smith.

willow-smith-whip-my-hair

After making her first appearance in the film scene in her father’s “I Am Legend” and she won a Young Actors Award, the little girl home Smith arrived in the world of music with her first single, “Whip My Hair.”

“Whip My Hair” is a song with a strong connotation of R&B, a powerful force, to reflect a little ‘character of this girl, who in a sense goes over style in the footsteps of her father, perhaps emphasizing a bit rhythm and base, where the electronic reigns supreme over all other elements of the song are a bit in the background, including the voice of Willow, who has pretty good potential, but here we can not fully appreciate. the-streets-mike-skinner

Thus, Skinner released his fifth (and last?) Opus entitled Computers and Blues on February 7. The kickoff of the tour will be given February 18 in Edinburgh, and the last concert will take place March 5 in London at the Brixton Academy.

At the end

Alexandra Burke – The Silence

Having triumphed in the edition of the British X Factor Alexandra Burke has crumbled several sales records with the single “Hallelujah” (that has proved so effective on the market as devastating in a classic song writing) and then come to the packaging of the disc of debut.

alexandra_burke-the-silence

From this, entitled “Overcome” and going back now over a year ago, were extracted four individuals with whom the artist has proven to make the most of the variation in light and sleek pop (in collaboration with the usual suspects and Flo Rida Pitbull).

At such a distance from the release of the album you would think the arrival of a sequel, but Burke has had her work cut out in promoting her character live and be known by her audience.

Here is a good time for a fifth single: this time it’s up to “The Silence”, ballad-style and solemn occasion for a new trial.

This time the singer’s voice brings into play – one thing seems obvious, but it is not so obvious – renouncing danceable beat to rely on an accompanying choirs and pompous. [...]

Danger Mouse Invites Norah Jones and Jack White on His Album

The English DJ/producer Danger Mouse has announced the names of singers who will participate in his next album Rome, written and recorded in the Italian capital (coincidentally) in the last five years with the composer Daniele Luppi.

danger-mouse-jake-white-nora-jones

If you consider the countless number of collaborations and projects of any nature Danger Mouse took part in recent years, it is surprising that the producers have not managed to finish even a third of everything he undertook! Just this year, the hyperactive rodent launched (very high and very strong, more importantly) his band Broken Bells, formed with the leader of The Shins, James Mercer, and has also worked on producing the last album of U2.

Knowing this, it is obviously less surprised to learn that some guy’s personal projects have been sidelined… This probably explains the endless gestation period of his album, Rome, concocted with composer Daniele Luppi, Italian films. However, during an interview with British newspaper The Guardian, Brian Burton, alias Danger Mouse, therefore, revealed that the album (largely inspired by the soundtracks of the 1960s) on which he worked “on & off” since these last five years, had recently taken a hit of speed since some of the highest caliber vocalists (including Jack White) were grafted to the project. Nelly and Kelly Rowland Are Found After Eight Years Dilemma

Eight years after Dilemma, Nelly and Kelly Rowland are to team up again for a ballad called Gone. A new global hit?

nelly-kelly-rowland

In 2002, Nelly knows his biggest hit to date with the down-tempo song Dilemma duet with Kelly Rowland, newly emancipated from his adventure with Destiny’s Child. In 2010, the rapper released following Dilemma Gone, a duet with Kelly Rowland from his fifth album, 5.0, which is due out November 15. So magic is it still effective?

Nelly back to top

Worldwide hit has emerged Dilemma of Nelly and Kelly Rowland, but they had to wait eight years for the two meet again for a sequel as opposed to Eminem and Rihanna who quickly recorded Love the Way You Lie, Part 2. If Gone, produced by Jim Jonsin, a song is pretty nice; however it can not be compared to its predecessor. The Auto-Tune has been there and the chemistry is not as strong. However, the single has everything to make a hit and bring the rapper from St. Louis on top. [...]
