Nick Waterhouse – Holly

Music media, the truth is I do not understand the imperative need that takes you to lighten the color of the skin of this or any other artist. Three or four decades ago, at a time when using the throat or play guitar in one form or another were a true reflection of the status of the musician in question made sense. Do it now, in times of economic globalization and cultural globalization is not just an exercise in chauvinism stale, but also one of skepticism stupid or childish ear, all depending on the intent of the writer.

An example of this is the reality of Nick Waterhouse, which from many media stands out as the new white hope of Soul once Eli Reed is determined to defenestrar himself. Yes, Nick Waterhouse is white and is from California, but the skin color and origin are but one of many statistics that the author includes in his article random random, no more than a simple story in a time when we have assimilated more than the Blues is not black and other discussions about purity are not a manifestation of positive discrimination but an example of rampant blindness and deafness.

Nick Waterhouse - Holly

Leaving aside miseries tap recognize that whatever-web-sphere blog is right to praise Nick Waterhouse, even something that affect no more than negligible. Influenced by names like Van Morrison or Buddy Holly (no more pints that look to realize that the album title is more than a coincidence), the Orange County relies on the Soul and R ‘n’ B more classic, one that was based on the roots of Rock ‘N’ Roll Blues and early hymns to build a world that later end up flowing into the world of Pop after the swing, dancing with leather shoes and forgotten holiday Prom where the kiss was the distraction to touch boob.
