Nevermind – 20 years already!
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Nevermind, the Universal label will release on September 19, a new edition of best-known albums from Nirvana.
September 24, 1991 Nirvana Nevermind came out, an album full of rage now seen as the best rock album of all time by music lovers and music reviews. In September 2011, the Universal label, which now manages the rights of the Nirvana catalog, will release a new edition in several versions of this album in tribute to the legendary group’s flagship grunge scene, and at the same time celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the release of it.
New and rare
On 19 September the fans of Kurt Cobain and his band will find the Smells Like Teen Spirit and other hits in several cabinets, the re-mastered single CD to the vinyl version. For the fan of Nirvana, a super deluxe edition will be sold in which there are 4 CDs and a DVD, containing an unprecedented concert of the group, never broadcast clips and a session recorded at the BBC. It will also be possible to find B-sides, rarities and other previously unpublished.
Nevermind is the album that blew up the Seattle trio of sulfur in the eyes of the world, thanks to one became as emblematic of a generation: Smells Like Teen Spirit. Passed 30 million copies to date, it remains the best selling album of the group.
