After having heard all summer with the smash “Hot n Fun” along with NERD, the more eclectic Nelly Furtado returns to make us feel something uniquely her own, the single “Night Is Young,” which accompanies the release of her The Best Of Nelly Furtado, a compilation that covers all stages of her career: the beginning of “I’m Like A Bird” until her most recent hits like “Manos Al Aire”, through hits like “Powerless” , “Turn Off The Light,” “Maneater,” “Say It Right” and so on and so forth.
It also includes three previously unreleased, “Stars,” “Girlfriend In The City” and, indeed, “Night Is Young.”
“Night Is Young” (which originally was to be called “Free”) is a song that takes a little ‘latest work of Canadian singer.
In fact you can see how her fast-paced and paced and electronic sounds that accompany wink quite heavily electro-pop to a genre that lends itself easily to the club mix.
Obviously its peculiarity lies in the contrast between the characteristics of deep sound, almost futuristic music and the sweetness of the voice of Nelly, is characterized as a bit ‘all hers repertoire.
It will also be published a deluxe version of this album, including collaborations with artists like Michael Buble, The Roots, Juanes and Tiesto.
And meanwhile, is already scheduled for 2011, the release of her fifth album, which should be called Lifestyle.
