Lady Gaga comparing gay men with steak
Lady Gaga over two thousand people gathered Monday in her protest against the Do not Ask, Do not Tell policy of the U.S. Army. “Equality is the greatest good in America,” she shouted to the crowd in Maine.
The meeting was organized by the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN), a foundation that stands up for gay rights. In her speech Gaga hooked on the meat dress she wore at the MTV Video Music Awards.
“Equality is the prime rib of what we stand for as a nation,” said the singer, according E! entertainment channel. A prime rib is a steak or something important. “I did not get a chance to enjoy the biggest piece of meat that my country has to offer,” she sings feelings of homosexual soldiers. “Does not everyone entitled to the same meat as I dress to wear?”
Gaga, which openly plays for her bisexuality, was at the MTV Video Music Awards accompanied by four former soldiers because of Do not Ask, Do not Tell redundant. “Vote against Do not Ask, Do not Tell. And otherwise go home”, she shouted the crowd.
SLDN the protests would put pressure on the two Republican senators from Maine. With the voices of the two, the Do not Ask, Do not Tell policy may be revoked. Under this policy, may not be an overtly American soldiers for their homosexuality. If they do, they can be fired. Tuesday the vote.
