Kane celebrates platinum album with special edition
Kane with the album No Surrender after nine months achieved platinum status. The sale of over fifty thousand copies to celebrate, the band Hague a special edition of the CD. No Surrender with the bonus disc A Little Something Extra comes out September 24.
The extra disc includes acoustic versions of songs No Surrender, Love Over Healing, In Over My Head, Scream and Point Blank. No Surrender is the title song in two different versions to hear. The version with Carice van Houten was incorporated as a charity single after the earthquake in Haiti. A remix of the song by the rap duo The Opposites can also be heard on the bonus disc.
“This album features five tracks that are part of the first rehearsal for our first ever acoustic tour”, says frontman Woesthoff. “It was never intended to bring this out: the tracks are certainly not perfect, but in hindsight that day captures the moment of the band in 2010″.
