James Morrison announces new album, The Awakening
A real album for James Morrison, at least, that promises the singer, who presented his album on his official website. Release Date for The Awakening: September 26.
Recently, Slave to the Music was unveiled and was delighted the fans of James Morrison. They are eagerly awaiting the release of third album, which is scheduled for 26 September. To make them wait a bit, the interpreter of You Give Me Something decided to say a little more about what to expect.
The goal: write good songs
Five-year career, the third album by James Morrison, a CD announced in early spring and the details begin to filter. To carry the singles In My Dreams and Slave to the Music is already out. The singer admits that this upcoming album is his favorite: “This is my favorite album to date. I tried to forget everything I learned back to my deepest desires. Result: j ‘I made a real hard, not too commercial, with the sole purpose of writing good songs. In the past, I sang too many ballads. Now I want to go further, go to more than substance. I will not change my singing but I really tried to get away from the usual format.” His comments, James Morrison has published on his official website.
Side collaborations
In The Awakening, the singer was in good company. He worked among others with Bernard Butler, known for his collaboration with Duffy. Besides James Morrison seems delighted, and he revealed that the musician was an extraordinary man and an incredible guitarist: “It is a great producer! He really ear to add songs to the details that enrich.” The bar is placed high for this next album, the tracklist has been unveiled:
