Erykah Badu fined after public striptease
Erykah Badu has a fine and a suspended prison sentence given. The American soul singer was given the punishment, because they had performed a striptease on the street.
In March, Dallas took the shots of the video for Badu’s song “Window Seat” instead. The clip was shot in Dealey Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was shot in 1963. Part of the recordings was a striptease, in which the singer was going to strip naked in the streets and eventually falls down as if shot.
Some passersby, including several children, witnessed the action of Badu. One of the passersby expressed his displeasure over the display, which the police summoned the singer because of the disruption to public order.
Erykah Badu has already paid a fine of five hundred U.S. dollars. In addition, she received a suspended prison sentence of six months imposed.
