Danger Mouse: Rome is unveiled
We know a bit about Rome, the joint of Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi will be in stores from 17 May.
Rome, the draft Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi tribute to spaghetti westerns music will be released next May 17. However, both men wanted to raise a little buzz around this highly anticipated album on which they have worked for nearly four years. After unveiling a few excerpts on the Web, the two men yield some additional information.
As Ennio
Daniele Luppi and Danger Mouse have appealed to lovers of western music that is Jack White (ex-White Stripe) and jazz singer Norah Jones. And, to be closer to the spirit of the film soundtracks of Ennio Morricone, who inspired this project, the Forum Studio as accomplices went to record. Old church in the Italian capital, the studio was in the past the home of famous composer of Untouchables. Both men have gone even further in the inspiration of music made in Morricone, they have appealed to former employees of the man who officiated as Edda Dell’Orso the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Like Kanye West
The two partners unveiled the name of the man who would be responsible for dealing with the image to project Rome, namely the director and photographer Chris Milk. The latter is well known in the music world, having collaborated several times with Kanye West, U2, Johnny Cash or Arcade Fire, freshly awarded at the last Grammy Awards.
