Contest Winner is the total of the world
The German Lena Meyer-Landrut is overjoyed with her victory at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her ‘Satellite’ was Saturday elected the best song of the 55th edition of the Festival. “I am totally in the world”, said Lena afterwards.
“It’s too much to think about now. I am grateful and completely freaking out”, shouted the 19-year-old German. During the press conference after the finals of the contest were the journalists and photographers were treated to a champagne shower. “Winning is a gut feeling. It’s great!”.
Germany was considered one of the favorites of the Festival. Lena previously scored with “Satellite” already a huge hit with eastern neighbors. The song came from nowhere to the inside top of the charts. The 19-year-old singer is planning as much as possible to enjoy her victory.
To the Germans knew the Eurovision Song Contest once before to win. In 1982 won the then 18-year-old Nicole.
