Casting for Buddy The Musical
With “Buddy The Musical” brings Stage Entertainment, the great musical tour in Germany, the lives of Buddy Holly on stage. For the occupation now a big casting was announced.
Buddy Holly, the man with the horn-rimmed glasses and the soft voice, was one of the pioneers of rock ‘n roll, and despite his short life gave lot still current hits. Retrieved from “Peggy Sue” to “Everyday” to “That’ll Be The Day” and “Rave On” songs live in his successful musical “Buddy on”.
With his band, the Crickets, he was the first to lead and rhythm guitar along with bass and drums brought to the stage and thus justified the standard formation of rock bands. Many artists include Buddy Holly to her great role models.
In 1959, crashed the plane in which Buddy Holly was to fly to a concert, starting in Iowa. Also on board were his colleagues Bamba Ritchie Valens (“La”) and the Big Bopper (“Chantilly Lace”) – Don McLean referred to this in his hit “American Pie” the day the music died.
The musical about Buddy Holly’s life is already successfully in Germany in 1993 and has been listed in Altenburg later in the port of Hamburg enthusiasms ensured. From October 2009 Buddy will now be eating in the Colosseum to see theater.
As part of a large-scale castings seeks Stage Entertainment, which includes “The Lion King”, “Tarzan” and “Dance of the Vampires have responsibility”, now a singer and dancer for the large production in food.
The auditions and workshops are scheduled for Buddy for May / June in Hamburg, the rehearsals begin in August.

MARIA ELENA
Buddy Holly’s wife, South American, attractive, has class and is well educated. Must sing and play. Actress / singer in 25th
JP RICHARDSON – The Big Bopper
Ex-disc jockey, Texas with a unique, engaging and impressive personality. Has the ability to dominate the stage with his solo performance. Sings “Chantilly Lace”. The ability to play an instrument is an advantage but not required. Singer / actor, 180 cm or greater.
RITCHIE VALENS
Ritchie is an attractive young Latino man with incredible charisma. A ripper in a positive way. His main song in the show is “La Bamba”. The ability to play an instrument is an advantage but not required. Singer / actor, under 25, handsome.
HIPOCKETS DUNCAN
The exuberant DJ of the local radio station in Lubbock, Texas. A respected person with good sense of humor. We are looking for an actor / singer, play age 30-40.
NORMAN PETTY
A record producer from Clovis, New Mexico. Has the appearance of a businessman and loves to produce plates. We are looking for an actor / singer, age 30-40 game.
VI PETTY
Very warm-hearted wife of Norman. She has a good sense of humor. Vi must play keybord. We are looking for an actress / singer, Age group 30-40.
APOLLO PERFORMER / Outstanding Male Female African-American singer / inside with the ability to fill the stage alone. Main song “Party”. Must bring with comedic talent, play, sing and master an instrument.
