Alex Ubago, excited by the Argentine Street



The Aiden singer was in Buenos Aires where he is showing his latest work, “Calle illusion”. The album, whose release was in March, was recorded in Argentina and some of the topics covered are: Strap for you, I repent, city deserted and a Thousand hours of great Andres Calamaro.

“On this album I decided to risk a little more and add new components among which shows a clear Argentine flavor” said artist on the album, which reached the highest point of sale in Spain and Mexico.

In an interview ahead to launch a new edition containing more videos, more material and a new version of “Strap yourself” a duet with Sharon Corr.

“We recorded the song and the clip in Madrid. Sharon came from Ireland, and put all of you for everything to be great. We had great fun. She is an artist with incredible talent, and is also very humble and nice. I loved working with her”,said of the experience.

Furthermore confessed that does not preclude the possibility of doing something in English later, “On the issue with Craig I ventured in the last chorus. The parts of the subject with Sharon that she sings in English write them together. Sometimes I write songs in english … do not rule anything in this language in the future”.

But it is not the only thing to encourage, also said: “I think my records will always be a ballad, emotion, romance, because it’s part of my style. But of course I’d like to record other styles”.
